I was tasked with defining the look of the two factions for the game Ashes of the Singularity, by Oxide Games. I really had a lot of fun with these, particularly developing a pipeline for efficiently creating unique shapes that held a uniform style, so as to best unite all the units as well as define the aesthetic of the Faction. Particularly interesting was that all of the vehicles in the game were essentially robotic, so cockpits or life support was not necessary.
The 'Tier 1' units were to be the smallest in the game.
